1. Scope and who we are

Findable LLC (“Findable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates findable.io. This policy applies to this website and any related page, feature, account, communication, or service that links to it. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, account details, messages, feedback, content requests, correction or removal requests, and other information included in a form or communication.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our systems and service providers may receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring and exit pages, page URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, interactions, identifiers, and diagnostic or security events.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, web beacons, tags, and similar technologies to operate the service, remember preferences, measure use, prevent fraud, and deliver or measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser and, where shown, our consent controls. Blocking some technologies may affect site features.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
  • Respond to questions, support, corrections, and legal requests.
  • Personalize content and remember preferences.
  • Measure traffic, performance, advertising, and engagement.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical problems.
  • Comply with law and protect users, Findable, and others.
  • Send service messages and, with any consent required by law, marketing communications that you can unsubscribe from.

4. Advertising, analytics, and Ezoic

We may use Ezoic for advertising, analytics, consent management, site optimization, fraud prevention, and related publisher services. Ezoic and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies and process IP address, device and browser information, page activity, advertising identifiers, and pseudonymous identifiers for those purposes. Learn more in Ezoic’s privacy policy and advertising partner list.

We may use Google services including Google AdSense and Google Analytics. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve and measure ads based on those visits. Google and other vendors may also use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers in connection with ad serving and analytics.

You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center, learn how Google uses information from partner sites, or use industry opt-out tools at YourAdChoices. Opting out of personalized ads does not necessarily remove all advertising.

Other analytics and advertising providers, such as Microsoft Advertising, may process page activity, campaign information, cookie or device identifiers, and conversion events. Where law requires it, non-essential advertising and analytics technologies are used based on your consent or other permitted choice.

If an account or paid feature uses Ezoic or another checkout provider, those providers may process identity, account, entitlement, and payment information under their own policies. Findable may receive purchase status, entitlement, price, currency, and limited transaction metadata, but does not receive the full payment-card number when payment is handled by a third-party processor.

5. Advertising, affiliate, and editorial disclosures

The service may display paid advertisements, sponsored material, or affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction, Findable may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Sponsored material will be identified when required. An advertisement or link does not by itself mean that Findable endorses the advertiser, product, or service.

Unless expressly stated, Findable is an independent publication and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers, brands, or trademark owners discussed on the service. Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Informational content may be incomplete or become outdated; use official instructions and qualified professional advice where safety, legal, financial, medical, or technical risks are involved.

6. How we share information

We may share information:

  • With hosting, security, analytics, advertising, email, support, payment, and other vendors that perform services for us.
  • With advertising partners as described above, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
  • To comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests; enforce terms; investigate abuse; or protect rights, safety, property, and the service.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
  • With your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. You may have a right to opt out as described below.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information; object to or opt out of certain processing, advertising, sale, or sharing; withdraw consent; and appeal a decision. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when legally permitted or required.

  • Use available consent controls to change cookie choices.
  • Use browser or device settings to block or delete cookies.
  • Use the provider and industry advertising choices linked above.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails.
  • Email privacy@findable.io to make a privacy request.

Where required by applicable law, we process recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

8. Retention, security, and international transfers

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary with the type of information and why it was collected. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups until those backups expire.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate protections for such transfers.

9. Content, corrections, and removal requests

If the service accepts content, correction, removal, or copyright requests, we may collect the requester’s contact details, message, relevant URLs, supporting material, declarations, and signature when legally required. We use that information to review, respond to, document, and comply with the request, prevent abuse, and protect legal rights. Formal copyright notices cannot always be anonymous.

10. Children’s privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where local law sets a higher age for consent, a parent or guardian must provide any required permission. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information so we can review and take appropriate action.

11. Third-party links

Links may take you to websites and services we do not control. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated by another appropriate method.
